The push for light manufacturing and a biotech hub is incredibly aspirational (considering we have plenty of store fronts that are vacant). Where do you think the talent to fill those jobs are going to come from? Countless professionals from across the Bay area will fight for those jobs. So how do we update our public safety policy to keep ahead of a forecasted problem?
It's data. It is communication. It is coordination.
Working with the police services, our City Manager, our public works – I will bring us together. We are already taking a step in the right direction because Public Works is already upgrading the citywide signaling infrastructrue. The plan is to implement fiber optic lines to increase capacity. Let’s continue to fund the Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP) that this Council approved in January 2023. We have to head off at the pass any increase in roadway fatalities and severe injuries. If not for the optics of the situation then at least for the sanctity of our families and children on Dublin Boulevard each day.
By the way, I am a NO on Measure II.
Coming from seventeen years in the commerical sector taught me that spending more than you earn is a sure fire way of hurting your business.

Let's keep Dublin strong and healthy. I support the balanced operational budget. My duty will be to provide fiduciary oversight and tactical opinion in continuation of a balanced budget. I look forward to working on the budget with my Council peers and the City staff to bring my commericial experience into process.
And I am really pleased to see that we have a healthy reserve. I support the Service Continuity Reserve to be funded better during years of surplus.
What’s important to me is our neighbor well-being and our neighborhood well-being. What’s important to me is our neighbor well-being and our neighborhood well-being. I will collaborate with Police and Fire Services to find a way to do more safety courses especially on eBikes and eScooters. Too many kids are running around without helmets or reflective gear. And at night that’s simply a recipe for disaster because at those speeds they travel, it is very harmful. I support applying for State and Federal grants to elevate safety awareness.
Also, let’s work together to make Dublin a bikeable city. My family and I get to the Farmers Market on bike or scooter. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. The bike lanes are eroding or non-existent along Central Parkway once you get beyond the Waterford Shopping area. The gravel is so bad that I fear having a rock jam my wheel and send me toppling over the handle bars. So let’s take a look at what Sunnyvale is doing with barriered and lit bike lanes.
